This musical, ALICE “I Feel So Me Now!”, features the script of a 1½ hour musical play as well as a miniature theater version. The musical adaptation is by Terri New & Music Producer/Arranger, Bob Esty. With a fresh “new” look to the story, Terri New uses Carroll’s dazzling array of characters in this lively musical adaptation.
Alice falls upon a topsy-turvy world at the bottom of a rabbit hole where she encounters fascinating characters such as the dapper White Rabbit with his desperate concern not to be late (but for what??); the imprudent Mad Hatter among other strange and wonderful creatures. In spite of this rather chaotic world Alice handles herself with aplomb and discovers that the treasure of being “me” is precious, indeed!
On ALICE “I Feel So Me Now!” Musical Theater Arts Volume 1 you will also find instructional PDF Files with all the information needed to get your production underway. From Audition Instructions to Organizing Your Production, from Directors and Actors Homework to Public Relations Tools, information that guarantees getting a full house. The PDFs also contains the scripts and all of the printable items required for the theater version and the miniature theater version of ALICE “I Feel So Me Now”. There are also paper doll characters and the backdrops for the miniature theater production featured on the Miniature Theater Construction Video.
On the PRODUCTION TOOLS DVD of this series you will find several tools for preparing ALICE “I Feel So Me Now!” characters. You’ll learn correct vocal positioning in the vocal basics section and how to develop a strong voice. Imaginative ways of getting into character are given and some background examples of dance terminology. When it comes to costuming your production, check out the foam rubber art for a step-by-step lesson in creating beautiful costumes and props. All of this is fun…and it is rewarding.
